Beautiful 100% wool tweed fabric sold by the half metre. This tweed is lovely quality, designed with care and woven in Yorkshire mills. We stock a wide array of quality British tweeds in a range of colours and designs.

Our tweeds are woven in small batches and are not readily available in shops. Used all over the world to make curtains, cushions, suits, dresses, bags, coats, hats, dolls, patchwork, interior accessories, and many, many more beautiful creations!

We tend to send out branded labels with all fabric purchased so that craftspeople can refer to 'from the mills...' on their creations if they wish to.

Although most of our tweed fabrics are robust enough to be used for upholstering pieces of furniture which get light to moderate use, our tweed is essentially not upholstery fabric.

True upholstery fabric is manufactured to be thicker and also to withstand a minimum amount of ‘rubs’.. Our fabrics have not had an official ‘rub-test’ done on them, so therefore we say, if you use the fabrics for upholstery, this is at your own discretion.

We have attempted to represent the colours accurately in our photographs, however due to the variety of different screen types, the colours you see may be slightly different (darker/lighter, more/less saturated etc.) please be aware of this when purchasing.
